Slumber parties are sooo much fun...

especially playing "spa" alllll day long!!!

Cousins are one of life's greatest joys!!!

The Swing...

Yes, it's true...

My boy still...sometimes enjoys

a good afternoon nap in the good ol swing ;-)

All of my girls have loved their swing

but retired it much sooner than this big boy...

I figured I better capture this moment

before I have to retire this swing for him ;-)

Sparkly Ears...

My baby girl kept asking me to pierce her ears...

Of course I said, "let's wait another year"

But no way...

she wanted to have "sparkly ears" now ;-)

Can you tell how happy and proud she is

to show off her new "sparkly ears"!!!

A Few Favorites

We ended summer vacation with my husband's

side of the family, at Hilton Head, S.C.

~which was cut short a day early

due to hurricane Irene...

But I must say, the weather we had was

absolutely beautiful and allowed us to capture

some of our time together...

Dedication/Birthday

1 Year Old!!!

It seems like yesterday

I was wondering what it would be like to have a little boy

And to see him holding this little shell in his hands...

Something that was just a momento

of my pregnancy with him...

Sure enough this moment came by a lot faster

than I thought it would ;-)

Oh Ian, you truly are a blessing...a gracious gift from God!!!

You have brought so much life to our family.

Thank you for your sweet snuggles

that make time stand still...

And for showing me that,

"dreams"

are so worth waiting for!!!
